The Pirates will be without the unlucky Fraser Bowes after his nasty spill last week resulting in a punctured lung and rib and back bruising. Hopefully Cooper will be available to boost the reserves Glasgow of course have Chris Bomber Harris in thier ranks, who always rides Wimborne Road well, add on Kyle Howarth and Leon Flint and they have a solid top three. Will be interesting to see how well Kevin Juhl Pedersen and Mario Hausl go on thier first visit. Sam Hagon is up and down with his scoring and not sure if Freddy Hodder is fit. Sticking my neck out, I think the Pirates should win this not sure by how many though. Thoughts? Kevin Juhl Pedersen rode in the Blue Riband last season scoring 9pts

When Scunny came down in the cup he only beat a Poole rider once, rest of his points came from beating his team mates. So 6 points might look ok but not when you break it down. Though Cooper did trick him to move off the racing line a few times. Though was early in the season before anyone has got only form going, so we shall see. But tough ask in the top 5 at Poole if he is guesting for KJP or is it for Hausel? They are both not riding

Dickie Head
1 hour ago, LisaColette said: Will Howarth be riding? Didn't he pull out of some guest bookings today? This needs someone who can interpret the rule book. His absence was for a family emergency which is understandable. Does the fact he was absence as a guest make any difference? A non speedway absence might mean a 7 day suspension. In which case a replacement at 75% of Kyle’s GSA of 8.28 could apply. Just my thoughts and happy to be corrected.
Gavan
Poole could easily get close to 60 in this one Harris last 3 meetings at Poole 16 rides and 6 wins and is out of form Howarth last 3 has had 14 rides and 1 win Flint 8 rides and 1 win Add in having Jack Smith and Luke Harrison and Glasgow are very weak Rushen and Cairns can easily hit double figures Any Poole fan expecting this to be close is deluded

I think they are owed a big performance but to be honest I'm not expecting it to be on Wednesday. In fact I'm not really expecting them to be in the play-offs this year, Edinburgh and Plymouth look more dangerous to me, the question is who will be the fourth team? Verdict for Wednesday is Poole 50+.

Nickinho
With the latest averages will Howarth be at number 1 and Hagon at number 2 tomorrow? Not sure what's happening with Chris Harris at the moment, he is still an excellent rider but maybe age is starting to creep up on him a lot faster than it did with say Scott Nicholls. Maybe at the age Chris is at fitness comes into it a lot, idk. Hopefully, it's just a blip though.

New averages don't take effect until June 1 so no change to our riding order.

Well for me getting old doesn't stop me doing the things I've always done, but.......doing it two days on the trot may well be an issue. Maybe Harris should focus on fewer events, and so get better results?

Steve Shovlar
Expecting a battling and thrilling meeting on a superbly prepared water saturated track against our rivals for the title. Glasgow come as one of the favourites for winning the championship and are stacked with quality riders. Harris loves the wide open spaces of Wimborne Road and as always is a real threat. Howarth is always very quick. Hagon is a top youngster and had a year at Poole. Smith has done many laps around here and Harrison is a battler. Flint can score a few. And then I woke up. 57-33. Dust from heat 3 regardless of track prep. 35c tomorrow. 2
Paddy The Rebel
Think Poole will win this around 55-35 tomorrow,RR for Bowes makes us a lot stronger as long as the reserves score how they have been then can we this fixture not posing much threat. Even if Kyle was suspended, which I'm almost certain he won't be, Glasgow wouldn't have to use a 75% guest.
