Poole Pirates Vs Oxford Cheetahs Bsn 2nd leg 29th April

Recommended Posts

The Pirates return to action at home this coming Wednesday to take on the Oxford Cheetahs after a 3 week break from the last home meeting.

The Cheetahs ran out winners by 51-39 at home to give them a 12 point advantage with Dayle Wood scoring 10+2 from reserve.

The Pirates need to get off to a good start, with the Cheetahs having Sam Mastets and ex Pirate Anders Rowe in opposition it could be a tough night.

Thoughts?

A lot could depend on who is guesting for Riss. The other 6 individually have had good meetings at Poole. So go for a 47-43 score line.

Well it's a must win match for the Pirates, but no pressure to get the bonus. Should be a competitive meeting, can't wait.

A little worried as we were so poor at Oxford especially Bowes, Newman and Lawson, expected Bowes to be poor but Kyle and Richard should have been better. If Bowes doesn't improve he will get the chop in my opinion.

Morris was pretty poor at worky yesterday

I could be completely wrong but it looked like morris and the bandits in general were struggling a bit with getting the setup right.

It hasn't taken you long to get fed up with Bowes, you were told about him before you signed him 😀

Everybody underperformed at Oxford on a track that was totally different to previous visits. Why pick on Bowes? No reason for him to be dropped. The next decision is will Middlo be back from his hols in time for Wednesday and then 'will we/won't we' over Kyle Newman.
