Word on the street, is that a new state of the art sprinkler system is on order from Temu.10 points

You are wasting your time on this forum. Simply watch, observe and digest if you can and do not bother to respond, this place is no longer for genuine speedway followers but for the trolls who believe that no one else is entitled to a alternative view or valid comment. This use to be a genuine exchange of views from genuine speedway supporters but now, with a few exceptions it is just a cesspool of vitriolic views by few and fewer real supporters of the sport. Watch the response to this to see what it is like.7 points

Decision to call off was correct - been tipping it down3 points

7 races in 80 minutes... it's a bit tortuous this. Just announced we're now waiting for the water to soak in! That's a new one3 points

I think we need to stop arguing about the crash he had and just hope he is not too badly injured and is back soon. Report suggests injury to hip again so hope it isnt worse because he came back sooner than he should have.3 points

Definitely should wait for cairns to be eligible and kerr to sort out his mechanical gremlins and find a bit of form I'm sure everyone agrees.3 points

Yeah, I can tell the time. Not sure about the Belle Vue one, but the Oxford preview was posted at 12.03pm on Sunday 25th May.... almost SEVEN hours before Rob's post. It was then updated at 9.09pm, adding in the missing sponsor. You've made yourself look a bit silly now haven't you?2 points

Was gonna say the same. He held his hands up and admitted he got it wrong so fair play to him for that. His honesty was refreshing.2 points

Lawson is very Professional how he approaches the sport to make money and is very organised .Some riders think the answer is to ride as much as possible and make money without the organisation and mechanical set-up in place.IMO.2 points

doesn't matter when I posted it, this forum is becoming as alien to the truth as a Trump press conference.2 points

My assumption was R/R since they put him at nr 4 and Kim at nr 5. However Smederna apparently told local news paper that Gleb will ride tomorrow. I am however still sceptical of that since Smederna have a history of not disclosing information and announce stuff at rider presentation despite it have been known for days. We'll see tomorrow if he's here or not. I don't really like that attitude, to hide information from fans until the very last minute. If they know Saturday-Sunday then put out some information after the line ups become public on Sunday evening at 21.00.2 points

It’s more due to it being a tv meeting that this has been called off early as probably around £10,000 has been saved than if they had waited until the morning as OB trucks were due to arrive this evening then overnight security plus if cancel on day have to pay 25 freelance staff plus Abi daily fee so will always be the same for tv meetings as contractually they still have to return2 points

If Redcar offered the date and it was reserved for the semi final then award the meeting 75-0 to Redcar. That would make teams race the meetings. Have said all along this is the start of season competition so it should be completed by June at the latest.2 points

If you jam it up the inside of anyone and wipe them out in doing so then you are the reason for the accident.2 points

I use XC Weather and always found it to be reliable, its showing 0.2mm of rain in between 4&6pm and the same at 9pm. With a strong wind, you would hardly notice it on track, hardly Armageddon... It's a bad habit now when clubs call it off on a forecast, it's one of the reasons I stopped going, it's pretty pathetic tbh2 points

Thankfully the forecasted rain didn't really show bar a bit of minor spitting. Sadly there wasn't a conclusion to the initial running of Heat 4. Think Bewley maybe got away with one there as the visitors were on a 1-5. Other than that - Mulford's excellent ride in 12 and Killeen nearly grabbing a point on the line was good to see. Oxford are at least missing one rider at the top end. While Wright will give you bags, he is imo a middle order rider. Janowski may as well not have not bothered turning up. Hopefully nothing to serious for Erik Riss.1 point

Yeah. That must be right because mark said today that both days are 6,5001 point

Shroek for you 🙈 also Riss r/r heat 1 ? only reserves to use after that ?1 point

Doesn't mean much, but i was bored 😌 League meetings only... Bomber at 6... 7.31, Klindt at 6 .. 6.88. As i said, it don't mean much, but were not averaging bucket loads at reserve. The points look like a lot on the score sheet, but they are getting a lot of rides at 6 to hit those scores. I expect Kvech to match Bomber.1 point
-
Kildemand was always gonna have 7 rides, another reason to use him in heat one, spread the rides out? Same thing happened with Lynn, Kvech getting an r/r outing in heat one, when Klindt was gonna get 7 rides.1 point

I was saying as Birmingham were due to race twice tomorrow, calling off the evening meeting wouldn't save on air fares like it would in normal circumstances.1 point

It seems to me, that Luke Harrison is the most motivated, so maybe he should instil some of his thinking into the others.1 point

There is no contact until Doyle leans to turn in, the contact is with the backend of Jensen bike, Jensen doesnt drift of his line, he psssed Doyle fair and square1 point
-
Nope. IMO Doyle held a fair line which was tight and the room wasn’t there for Jensen, he just about got in front but he hit Doyle, so clearly he didn’t have enough room or he would have made the pass clean. Doyle had the racing line and Jensen was so tight he was always going to slightly drift.1 point

It’s disappointing that a great racing track cannot attract decent crowds.I know results matter but it seems there is not the support too keep the sport viable in Workington. In 2018 the Team won everything but it was not enough support to carry on.Nobody wants to see such a good set up( track and facility)fail.1 point

All the cup competitions should have designated dates like the football. Year after year we have the same situation with cup fixtures.1 point
