BlueIn2Red
Thoughts on BSN charging extra for the Premiership playoffs? I must admit I thought the “full season pass” I was paying for included the full season. Although to be fair the playoffs in previous years have not been on BSN at all of course. On balance I’m going to pay the extra, but it was a close run thing to be honest.

They're head and shoulders above the other 3 sides winning nearly every home meeting convincingly including beating 2nd place Leicester 61-29 both times
hammer1969
I also thought the full season pass included the playoffs so I checked this morning and found it doesn't. The price they are quoting seems reasonable for 6 matches but I have decided not to purchase it. I will be attending the home meeting (or maybe meetings, fingers crossed) for Ipswich, the rest I will just follow on the updates.
WookieboyDon
The full season pass doesn't include the Premiership Play Offs and Final, but DOES include the same races for the Championship. Neila
As a full season pass holder, the play offs cost £8.33 a meeting a lot less than travelling and admission money

Dornier
It's unlikely that Sheffield will progress any further than the semi finals so for me as Sheffield is the only club I am interested in seeing £50 is a lot of money to pay for two meetings. I thought BSN would be doing the play offs but was hoping they would go down the path of £15 per meeting and perhaps a little more for the final. As it stands I won't be buying the play offs so instead of getting £30 from me for the semi finals and possibly another £30 for the final they'll be getting £0. They probably will sell a one off steam nearer the time, at the moment they can advertise and sell a full play off package, but can't sell a one off, as yet, as they don't know who will ride and when

Single match passes can be purchased for all the playoff matches as well

Odds On Posted yesterday at 01:03 PM Author Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:03 PM Must admit i have been a bit disappointed with BSN this season, might just be me but feel there is no regular spacing between meetings, its literally all or nothing it feels. No doubt the price will go up next season and that would be the final nail for me and BSN. 3
marko Posted yesterday at 01:24 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:24 PM I gave it a go again but its been crap this season, too many tracks where the racing is non existent, too many tracks where they cant even get the basics right like keeping the dust down and it does not help when you have a certain presenters making excuses for the promoters and claiming that the racing has been great when clearly it has been far from it, and not too mention the farce of guests etc. Next season I will stick with watching the Polish Leagues and the Grand Prix.

Any increase in price then i would seriously fall on the side of not renewing with BSN.

Think the shambles of the fixture list might have a lot to do with it,they committed to show 2 home meetings for each Club.Plus certain Clubs don’t want them on local derbys as it could effect their Attendance (so I have been told ).

I do hope you are not pointing the finger at BSN for your 'racing non existent' & 'keeping the dust down' & 'farce of guests' points? GP's can be a bit of a farce at times, and that happens to be the money end of the sport with the mighty FIM.

It looks like they do a decent job of things .. With not a great hand to play with given the sports operating model... Personally I watched a few meetings and decided it wasn't for me given I watch (proper sporting competition), from Poland on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (and sometimes Thursday!), and Sweden on Tuesday's... Hopefully it is viable for both them and the teams....
