Wild Cards for 2027
szkocjasid replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
As Freddie has finished in the top 5 for 8 consecutive seasons (prior to his injury hit 2026), I think he really should get one of the last spots (along with Bewley). -
So much for the FIM referee. Doesn't even stop the race for wrong gate positions.

Jack is injured, did you miss the novel about his hip? Had to be lifted on the bike in the first leg, has been to pre op for his hip. He has said he is injured but completely willing to ride. I think even if we wanted a guest we wouldn’t get away with it. I fully expect Jack to be riding. His away record is terrible everywhere but I fully expect he will be a bandit in 27.

Sake 😩 Sorry Danny love ya an all but no 🤦🏼♂️

Sentiment dictates we can’t afford to lose another track, reality suggests it’s going to be a constant struggle to keep a lot of venues open financially. But in the case of Plymouth, if 500 of their fans donated 100 pounds to the club that would pay for a new fence and a bit more. Also my opinion on the track has no bearing on whether it will be around next season, that will be down to your fans or your promoter to find the money.

I did read an FB post that claimed that Freddie said he had not been asked but obviously could just be an NDA. -

Kvech, Thompson or lindgren, imo should be Kvech but it will be lindgren -
Think you're getting mixed up with Jody Scott Phil. He's from the Kings Lynn area, Hunstanton I believe.
-
I hope he signs for someone next season just to keep all you moaning old f***s away.

If and it's a very big if Northampton passed in to new owners this winter then perhaps that set up could transfer to Eastie. At least that might satisfy Speedworths criteria
-
Poland also appears to be rearranging rain off fixtures for GB race nights which causes even more absences in our leagues.

Glasgow Tigers 2027
YeOldPitGate replied to TheWellBehavedWorrall's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
But could all flip on its head if they end up with Beau Bailey or Brady Landon at reserve , if on the outside chance they got both of them they will be the team to beat yet again. Bailey is the more exciting rider of the two but Landon would probably go better at Poole as he's a trapper like his mentor Hancock. -
2027 - 8 Team Premiership
YeOldPitGate replied to CTRSports's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I kind of hope so for their sake also Bagpuss given they struggled to be viable last time in the championship but other than them I can't see where another two teams are coming from even if points limit in the championship drops to the rumored 38 points -
