  1. i prefer to just go and enjoy the racing which is absolutely fantastic at Glasgow. If we win something then its a bonus but the whole package at Glasgow entertainment and viewing wise is first class , there are some minor irritants that others have highlighted but nothing to tarnish the standard of the racing.

  2. Erm...there fact that there are kids at these meetings that see riders as role models? Hardly setting a great example. Throw the book at both of them instead of trying to glorify this sickening behaviour

  3. Not sure if Cami moaned but the kids running in the kids race did say it was a bit on the slick side and were concerned about a couple off ruts on the second bend

  4. The worst thing about this sh*t show is having to listen to Jason Harrold and James Wright filling the gaps with painful small talk.

  5. I've managed to have a shower, do my ironing, cut the lawn and made a meal during all the delays.

  6. Didn't know that Plymouth and Workington tracks were this close to each other 😜🤣🔵⚪️ What do you think @lewy🤣

  7. The Plymouth track staff aren't going to win any prizes for air bag replacement! Pretty sure Kerr touched the tapes in heat 3 KJP looks a class act on and off the track Got to question Leon Flint missing bread and butter Glasgow matches chasing qualification for a competition he has almost zero chance of qualifying for and if by some miracle he did would probably miss a load more matches 🤷‍♂️ Klima a surprise packet especially on such a tight technical track @lewy got some good exposure tonight... money well spent 😂

  8. Well it depends - as a Glasgow fan, it finished after about heat 3!

  9. For once I've got to agree with a Poole fan on this 😜 your correct

  10. I aint gotta clue tbf Iain, it would nice if someone from BSN actually explained what was happening rather then being vague and saying the update in May should work on most major tv manufacturers

  12. Has it finished yet?

  13. I've sacked off the idea now, seems like I've dodged one tonight.

  14. Three and a half hours to run 15 heats, and only one pass.

  15. Not with Lawson doing the track prep they won’t

  16. Wish it would go off at the track as well 😜

  17. Good going that I’ve managed a 10,000 piece jigsaw and took the dog out for 3 walks.

  18. Really feel for the promotion here - big crowd, loads of kids, nice weather. Then bad luck with air fence delays, which will likely put a lot off from coming again. I have seen bag replacement done a lot quicker than they’re doing here though.

  19. Looks like kids could give Workington a run for their money tonight

  20. delay for air fence then have a race then decide to have another break for a track grade and then another delay for another air fence repair, it’s a tough watch

  21. Fingers crossed Battye is ok. On a positive note well done to the club for getting the speaker situation sorted.

  22. Not a lot out there that would make a difference, no point changing like for like at the moment. Not too say it won’t happen at some point.

  23. If I had known BSN were going to change their set ups I wouldn't have purchased a season pass. I've never done any of this fancy stuff like mirroring etc its above my head. I think it's not right what they have done.

  24. Next time get Woffy along as Picko and Howarth square up I can hear it now Woffy shouting to the crowd "give me an F, give me a U" you know the rest lol.

  25. This is the same killjoy who doesn't want Coventry to return, gloats over Swindon problems. Did not want to believe that Oxford, Buxton and Northampton would materialise. Has not had a good word to say about the sport in general. Hardly what I would call a Speedway fan, more like a Clarke Osbourne sycophant.

  26. Eastbourne did a tremendous job of helping Tom from raw junior to last pick RS and clubs like that are sadly missed. Seeing him rise from last pick RS to FIM gold winner then occupying the 2nd heatleader spot at Birmingham after we released him was marvellous. I’m proud of all The Aces number 1 alumni and look forward to their visits to the NSS.

  27. But Steve, he didn't even get a full max at home to Berwick. Relied on a paid one. Dreadful. He should probably retire and let the young guns like Scott Nicholls have a go.

  28. Yeah, he only scored 10 from 4 rides tonight and had an "EF/R" in his last ride....... !!

  29. Every single non neutral on here who has a team to support despite what they’ll try and tell us. I take your point on the first issue though and I actually agree with you. I can only speak for myself here, but for me there’s definitely been something missing in these opening meetings. That star quality is missing. I always looked forward to the opening heat because Emil or Doyle were in it, same for every other heat they were in. That is now missing and the fact (with all due respect to him) Musielak is now the highlight and the races I now most look forward to speaks volumes from my perspective. As does the fact I plumped for a season ticket again this year, but still couldn’t be bothered to make the trip across town to go so paid another 15 quid to watch it at home instead! I regret now getting one but if it’s a similar style of line up next year I certainly won’t be getting another and will watch the odd stream instead.

  30. Disgraceful behaviour.... My 22 year old lad has just watched this and now needs therapy and counselling.... They should be banned for a decade st least.... Good, hard racing, "just enough room" left from Howarth which is fair enough... A bit more of this and the sport could be interesting again....

  31. Wasn't expecting that score so well done the Bandits, first of all hope both riders injuries aren't serious and wish them a speedy recovery.Kildeman was on fire, Nick looking more like it, Comets were disappointing does anyone know why Peter and Nick weren't in heat 15 ?

  32. Well it’s a long way back to Glasgow, Cami will have plenty of time to mull those thoughts over.

  34. After the car crash of the first 8 heats, we won 23-19, positives anyone? 😂 When you go to Berwick you know you have to be able to gate as it’s so strung out. We just weren’t at the races early on, bad day at the office. Hopefully tomorrow’s gate isn’t affected by tonight’s result, and we at least see some entertaining races. Hope Reid Battye and Niklas recover soon. Could be a big blow for Berwick as Battye looks like a heat leader already.

  35. I don't think it's made that much of a difference - given Hausl's efforts at Armadale, I'm not sure he and Leon would have done much better than the 8 points that the guests have scored..potentially 9 or 10 when heat 14 runs..next year apparently.

  36. Horrendous start for the comets but Christ, that decision from Dishington was a stinker!!

  37. What happens between the club, sponsors including those of the club and rider and the rider himself who are all now self employed is between the various parties and that is where it should remain. You obviously feel strongly about this so I'm sure this will feed through via a sizeable donation to Vinnie's gofundme fund raiser.

  39. Great result for Plymouth, always liked King, good to see him going so well.

  40. Thought the meeting showed the issues both sides have. Monarchs obviously couldn’t cover the loss of Paco early on and the reserves are very poor. Bears lack consistent heat leaders but were solid if unspectacular. Reserves, particularly Scott, were so much better than their counterparts.

  41. Was a good meeting to watch and I'd say this is perhaps the best race track in the UK. It wasn't just fastest bike wins, there was a very quick line around the inside as well as it wide surpasses NSS for me. As I expected Morris and Lambert did well, Hagon was better than I though he'd be and Howarth as ever is all action.

  43. You must be incandescent with rage that Northampton are using R/R for Iversen then.

  44. If Plymouth didn't sign him they would have still got a facility for tobias thomsen so no idea why it doesn't sit right with you makes no sense.

  45. I'm all for progress, but if it wasn't going to be ready for the start of the season, they really should have left it until next season imo... or at least signalled the change before selling season passes.

  46. Sam wasn’t great as a bandit either but he was forced into the main body of the team. The lad has talent you don’t end up 2x under 21 British champ for nothing. We all complain about a lack of British riders. Then as soon as a young British rider isn’t the next Bewley we moan about that.
