Very much looking forward to this meeting as I bring with me a mate who is originally from the Bournemouth area but converted to being a Lion! I/we will av to convert him to Pirateism! Shame that it doesn't look like Danny King will be riding as it's always good to see how former riders fair on a return to their old haunt. Charles Wright aside Redcar haven't got much to challenge us Pirates but I hope that they come with a fighting spirit and push us like Berwick did even if it means squeaky bum time! @Steve Shovlar 59-31 win for us Pirates C'mon the Boyzzzz!

With this looking like one of the most unsettled and least able Glasgow teams for many years, will the promotion - and supporters - accept a mediocre season or will changes be made? I rather suspect the latter. The Tigers are the only team whose 1 June collective averages are lower than they were on 1 May. There are no stand out fails, just, with few exceptions, collective under performance.
Alan Dick has good contacts across Europe and I’m sure he’ll be looking for alternatives, maybe a young Swede or Dane? I expect some big changes to come. I thought a few weeks back that a swap with a northern team was a possibility but the 1 June averages have messed that up so it’ll be rider(s) out and rider(s) in. And maybe a little more flair when it comes to the 2025 team? -
If Max Perry is to be dropped then 2 young lads at Leicester worth a look at in Sonny Springer & Vinnie Foord. Yes they would also struggle to score but maybe they av a clearer mind to face the challenge of moving up a league.

Building on the plot was obviously GI's plan from day one back in the mid-noughties, as many realised. I'm sure the original plan was for Osborne to develop the whole plot himself, but as you say, he's now offset some risk and potential planning pain by selling the stadium footprint. I'm sure L&G wouldn't be in the business of buying this if they didn't have some assurance that the planning change of use is likely to get pushed through.
