When Hackney opened it was quite a dilemma for me. I was born and brought up in Hackney and, as I said, the speedway was in walking distance of my home but by then I had become a New Cross supporter and, of course, New Cross re-opened (after a year's break) the same year as Hackney and in the same league. So, in the world of local derbies, Hackney became the enemy! Although New Cross then closed, West Ham opened the following year, so I had no option but to transfer my allegiance to West Ham as I couldn't contemplate supporting the old enemy however near to me it was! From then until 1972, I was a regular at both tracks every week. After West Ham closed I continued going to Hackney but could never bring myself to actually support them, especially as, by then, I had moved away into the deep recesses of Essex (Loughton).....I effectively became trackless in terms of support until moving to Clacton in 1979 and falling into the welcoming arms of Ipswich.

Sedgmen as well can take a ride and he’s in good form. Sedgmen, Brennan and realistically two from Pawlicki is more than good enough cover for Worrall. -

I agree , it’s stupid. As the rules stand, if we dropped Worrall snd kept cook until Worrall was well enough to return, we would have to apply for permission to reinstate Worrall snd this might not be granted and, there’s no guarantee Worrall wouldn’t choose to go elsewhere, as per Pickering last season looks like we’ve chosen the rider rep option for Ipswich tomorrow so if we follow that trend then the using of guests argument doesn’t apply anyway.
ti be honest, being able to use Brennan plus several rides from Pawlicki is probs going to be more beneficial as long as Pawlicki finds some form. -
That’s why I think he should be at number 2 for this one. Can see him pulling out after a couple especially if track is grippy

I know Emil has asked Artem about riding for Ipswich. Wroclaw are very reluctant to let Laguta ride in Britain.
