Good all round performance by the stars tonight. Even Anders and Simon put in good shifts, they were always there or there abouts and in the mix for points. Captains role by Klindt. Why we ever let him go i will never know, but thanks to Oxford for letting us have him back! Richard Lawson excellent choice of guest - another rider we should have never let go, always gives 100%. Good to see Patryk knocking in good points from no. 2 and NKI and Basso scoring as they should Kept waiting for Sheffield heat leaders to step up but they never did. With Kvech in the team what are the chances of a Srars v Ippo final...

Running out of excuses for his performances... Last nights excuse 'it was his first time' at Ipswich? I can't remember the Kings Lynn/Belle Vue ones ? Or the one at Perry Barr v Ipswich (League match) ?

If management were prepared to stick with Riss last year through his troubles, then I would be surprised if they let Jenkins go, especially as he does (to me) appear to be turning the corner and improving week by week. I wonder if they might be holding on until early next week for a decision on team changes to make sure Ellis and King come through the British final unscathed?

Is any club sustainable on its crowds/ food and drink (where applicable). Probably not.

Dissapointed with my trip to K.L. last night. I know the track was the same for both sides but I can't remember seeing the track with so few passing lanes. Where I was stood at the exit of bend 2 after the first few heats the riders were having to back out of the throtle to avoid drifting into the fence a also to get the bike into the back straight. We were out gated , and this is no excuse, I think we were robbed of a spectical of the Sheffiels boys trying to get back on terms. The best team on the night won, but as a spectical the spectaters lost. I just hope the racing is closer at Sheffield in the return match whichever team wins ( but do hope it's Sheffield) Looking forward to visiting A.F.E again later in the season.

Flint should be the leading light in the rising star position and to be fair if there was no RS system he'd probably still be worth a team spot on potential alone. I've made my feelings known on the RS system elsewhere but it'd be interesting to know what the overall combined average is of the RS season on season... one for the anoraks. You'd hope it'd be about the same or marginally increase year on year, I do feel many of them are well out of their depth this season though.
